Pastry Chef Bio
Diana Gill’s love for pastries and art began as a small child where she would watch her Grandmother and Mother in the kitchen working magic. Both women cooked at home for their family as well as professionally out side the home. It was that image from her past that instilled the passion for the Art of Culinary. Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area family outings were always educational shopping at the local market, deli’s, and café she would learn about many cultures and delectable creations. She remarks, “I can now see why my Dad told me that the Bay Area was the heart and soul of food from around the world."

Working in the fashion industry for over a decade sparked her imagination and artistic expression but could not fill the void of the culinary arts. This inspired her to go back to school and get a degree from the highly acclaimed "California Culinary Academy Le Cordon Bleu" in San Francisco in 2001.

Seven years after working for various bakeries, recipe creation, testing and practice practice practice. She launched 'The Couture Baking Company, LLC' in June 2008 bringing to the public her fresh baked Breads, Scones, Cakes, and Signature Custom Deco Cookies with a splash of Couture in all.
